Sam Rogers

Board Member

A native of Durham, North Carolina was educated in the Durham City Schools. He is a 1978 graduate of Hillside High School Durham, NC. He is a 1982 graduate of North Carolina Central University Durham, NC where he received his bachelors of Business Administration and Accounting.

Sam has had extensive financial and budgetary experience with positions at Leggett & Myers and for the last nineteen years with the State of North Carolina at North Carolina Central University.
Throughout his life he has been an avid family orientated individual and served young people and their families with financial contributions for programs to support and mentor them. He is active in his community as well as his alma maters with chairing and being a member of several class reunion events over the years.
